by PaUl0_BRA on 2007-07-18 09:45 MDT

my deck won! =P
Sam_T stole it !!!

by Manipulation on 2007-07-18 09:52 MDT

Well, Magus>Aggro of the format, and considering how aggro-heavy it is...

by FiReBLT on 2007-07-18 10:32 MDT

What was Gathan Raiders sided in against in the Mono Red Deck?

by kreff on 2007-07-18 11:10 MDT

i think is sb in allways XDD

by coolcreep on 2007-07-18 11:43 MDT

I hope the dude who didnt put any raiders maindeck but 4 SB has a baby so i can dropkick it in the dick.

by Firebelly on 2007-07-18 12:15 MDT

my matches were all 2-1 wins. my sb is bad, i didnt cast dormant against slivers cause i was in defensive mode when i had him in my hand and wouldve rather held some sort of removal. he also got landflooded g3 and it shouldve been a better fight so i got a little lucky. i brought in dead/gone almost every match so maybe they should come to md, but its pretty tight and worked pretty well for like throwing it together right before the trial. sam_t also raped me in the finals, couldnt hit a land but his deck ran really well.

by sandoiche on 2007-07-18 13:13 MDT

disintegrate is bad, so is thunderblade charge

gathan is really MD, its just so good

and arrows is totally crap too :/

by Shivan1 on 2007-07-18 15:33 MDT

I take it you're using sarcasm since that is your deck?

Why are you playing serrated arrows in an aggro deck - it's not a creature and it doesn't deal your opponent damage... what good is it?

Also with control decks so popular in the format, why not molten disaster as a finisher instead of disintegrate?

by MotC on 2007-07-18 15:52 MDT

Because no one wants to own slivers with molten disaster. (Split second= i beat slivers)

by Djinn on 2007-07-18 16:38 MDT

had we some metagame breakdown, we'd know how many slivers played and how needed molten disasters are :)

by Shivan1 on 2007-07-18 17:05 MDT

Not only slivers but it wrecks control because now you have uncounterable x-spell coming at them. :(

Note, this doesn't reflect the actual lists; there were no two same lists, save Karsten's teachings and perhaps some Goyf-variant. Oh, and as is obvious, most Teachings-decks and Goyf-decks were in the 1-1 or 0-1 bracket. Slivers did even worse, Wild Pair going 0-1 twice and Venomous Slivers not breaching top with overwhelming numbers.

Other than that, yea, numbers FTW.
