1st!!! D-storm....

by poopascoopa on 2007-07-15 21:56 MDT

Wow. A netdeck won at Magic-League. How original.

by Testament on 2007-07-15 22:15 MDT

Wow. An idiot complaining on the tournament comments. How original.

by monkeywrench on 2007-07-15 22:55 MDT

my list was shocking as i decided to play 6 minutes before it started and thru something together, the board needed pyroclasm and the main needed a pact of negation and an island over a tolaria. Other then that it was fine

by ChristPunchr on 2007-07-15 23:14 MDT

wee tenth will be here soon and dstorm will be gone.

by Mammonth on 2007-07-16 00:26 MDT

wee tenth will be here soon and dstorm will be gone.

and Izzetron too, fortunately

by Sample on 2007-07-16 03:01 MDT

but there wiil be lots of new decks.. so u will be w8ing for change again))

by coat3021 on 2007-07-16 04:59 MDT

People really want to play these decks as much as possible, before they are dead! I will really miss this metagame, since pretty much any deck had a chance. With Xth, the environment will probably be more aggro-based, with little to no combo (maybe Dredge, if you count that), which is a shame.

by mufl0n on 2007-07-16 06:07 MDT

u r a shame

by BigShow on 2007-07-16 07:14 MDT

where is Mortivore? I h8 u all, even that where is warped world?

by Marit on 2007-07-16 10:17 MDT

Warp World comboo dies when anarchist rotates out with 9th, and then izzet chronarch rotates with rav.

by Aari on 2007-07-16 11:53 MDT

Luckyly Dredge will stay, but that's a bit shame that there are no fun-big-reanimated beefs in Xth...=/

I prefer this version over UBg because its faster (1st turn Green/Mentor)

by TEPI on 2007-07-16 13:19 MDT

the best deck in the format and the 2 decks that beat it...

by TEPI on 2007-07-16 13:21 MDT

also coat, project x is combo and is still very alive

by ChuckNorris on 2007-07-16 13:31 MDT

Bg rack blows all of these decks out.

by Aari on 2007-07-16 14:40 MDT

Bg rack needs strong sb hate against Dredge to win 2nd & 3rd - discard just dont hurt it that much (also firemanes are great against the rack itself) - tharmagoyf is still quite a threat

verdant force is always fun

by ChuckNorris on 2007-07-16 16:02 MDT

Rack's first game against dredge is actually fine. You just kill their enablers and then once their hand is gone they're basically stuck in topdeck mode while you rack them out. G2 and 3 Jailer is basically gg.

by monkeywrench on 2007-07-16 16:57 MDT

i played against the rack, its inconsistant and they give you heeps of time to get back in the game unless they get the god draw, i killed bob and won by linking compulsive into foresee into aeon chron. The matchup isn't that bad, i would much rather play agaisnt it then agianst dredge or dragonstorm.

by Russell_Nash on 2007-07-16 17:12 MDT

id be interested in seeing how many people played D-storm and Izzetron this Trial; i imagine it was a ton. Kiss them goodbye kiddies, cause they going out the door friday.

by fuertecito on 2007-07-16 19:58 MDT

only goodbye decks, with exception of dredge, wich gets owned by pithing needle, and tormods cryp oc

by Mammonth on 2007-07-16 23:34 MDT

also coat, project x is combo and is still very alive

Agree. Project X will lose only Persecute in sb (can be replaced by Stupor or Specter i think), and one bad matchup (Izzetron) will gone. In aggro meta it will be awesome

by MotC on 2007-07-16 23:38 MDT

magic sucks

by Klos on 2007-07-17 03:25 MDT

Bg Rack or better MB Rack pwn dredge. Dredge cant win if they cant get the combo in the 4th turn, which is pretty unlikely against Withered Wretch, Jailer or Extirpate :P

by AgentX on 2007-07-17 06:37 MDT

lol i noted that dredge dont deed to combo to win for 1 Akroma Raya dawnbringer borgadan hellkite and 2 Discard is a engine for dredge so well U are welcome to make me dsicard troll on turn one HAHAHAHA and oh yea Poison sliver pawn in block Won both our PTQs if that counts for anything

by Daveslusher- on 2007-07-17 10:28 MDT

Rack sucks. Play mono white.

mogg fanatic > pro x =[

Mogg Fanatic > Dredge, since it rapes their Bridges and Dredge enablers. :D

As a conclusion, Mono Red (but not Goblins, obv) will be quite decent in post 10th T2. :P
