I'm REALLY suprised that goblin pulled it off...

Was the plague banned? 4xPestilence, early blockers for the speed decks, seems like it would have great matches vs. top 3.

And didn't one of the precons have jitte?

Yes, I beat a Pestilence deck early on with my Exodus Goblin deck, but than got mana flooded.

The one Precon that had Jitte was banned.

Yea i played plague... But i was killed by goblins, firstgame he breaks the lock via his 1 necrylals disk and then topdecks his dragon ftw... Second game we played it took looooooooooonnng i didnt drew pestilence but i had worship + pariah outside (to stay save (i thought i draw my pestilence soon he was at 3 me at 2) I had everything ready for a pestilence kill but as i had around 17 cards on library left time was called, and of course the 4 pestilences where still in my library ....

Ya my deck beats grim long and pestilence.dec. Jacios made the deck for me, I was planning on playing Hulk Flash but he was like "dude totally scooping to pestilence is not cool" So i was like ok Jacios what you got for me? He gave me this list i was like "no SB ewww" but Jac was like "dude im the best deckbuilder on ML" And i was like "ok ill play it".


No but seriously goblin mob was the first magic deck I ever played with, and it made me fall in love with magic. I can't get enough of this format and hope that the site has more precon wars trials in future.

And as for the pestilence deck, I beat it round 1. put simply goblins are too fast unless he gets the nuts draw (which he did game 1). Also, not a single deck in the format can touch a goblin deck getting the nuts draw.

Alot of goblin decks were played, but most went either 1-1-0 or 0-1-0. Nowhere near as good as anyone thinks. Sadly I was the only person playing Orzhov (1-0-0 had to drop). All you have to do it stall (not on purpose, its the decks design) and bleed your way for the win. Teysa + Skeletal Vampire is insane for this.
