by Ro on 2007-06-26 02:20 EST gj kreff! by Tinefol on 2007-06-26 02:54 EST *Curses the trials at night. Went 2-0 drop, been too late. by TD on 2007-06-26 03:10 EST Gush is not broken; I ran a bad build of Dredge and still would have won save for a play error, and the correct build of drede would have been much harsher. If gush is broken, that build of GAT is not how to break it, as it shouldn't beat Dredge too often assuming the dredge player has a good build and doesn't make large mistakes. by Tinefol on 2007-06-26 03:21 EST GAT isn't all that strong. I've played the deck, I've played against the deck. It folds to anything with removal, not to mention Meddling Mage named on dryad. 1 Cunning wish to get rid of it? SRSLY?
by Shimster on 2007-06-26 06:14 EST Congrats Isawa. :] by Reginrok on 2007-06-26 06:53 EST Isn't flash banned... by Reginrok on 2007-06-26 06:54 EST Isn't flash banned... by Shagrath on 2007-06-26 08:48 EST in legacy retard by _Koby_ on 2007-06-26 09:01 EST Shagrath-- this is vintage by Shagrath on 2007-06-26 10:07 EST o'rly? ty for enlightning me... -.-
by leonin5 on 2007-06-26 12:04 EST if thats sarcasm your an idiot, they don't ban cards in vintage... by HUNGTACTICS2 on 2007-06-26 14:06 EST except for the ones that owned too hard. ie. chaos orb by LONE_GUNMAN on 2007-06-26 15:28 EST Choas orb isnt banned becuase it is too good, just because the dont like they idea of 'dexerity' cards in tournament for the handicapped and the unskilled.
by LONE_GUNMAN on 2007-06-26 15:33 EST i forgot to add that the tournament errata would be like 17 pages long for choas orb, being you cant touch permanents in response unless you sacrifice them or spin on an axis to tap, and must from a height of 1...............................................................blah blah blah, you would have to call judge everytime you are about to play one. And judge gets angery at dci for rules saying he/she must watch over every choas orb play by Shooter on 2007-06-26 20:09 EST my deck = pitch long =[ by Ironicus on 2007-06-26 20:15 EST Chaos org is great when you tear it. Afteer that you have 1000 chaos orb! by wox2 on 2007-06-27 00:50 EST Congrats Dapug-again good job. Shooter: Isawa´s deck is Pitchlong-No Grimlong in TOP 4... ;-) by LONE_GUNMAN on 2007-06-27 01:38 EST i dont like the grim tutors personally, just becuase the lose loss is near foreit to red burn, 1 player with 4 grim tutors, other with T2 burn, and the pitch long player loses 3rd turn from playing 2 grims.. it really happened! with consistancy! =( 6 life is a world of difference by Ironicus on 2007-06-27 12:31 EST The fact is, this card is only playable because of the metagame. T1 players aren't afraid to be paired vs a burn deck because it's really rare. Other format can't rivalise normaly, but those t1 deck are builded to beat other t1 deck. So a normal T1 deck(Builded to be good vs any deck) can't win a touney if it doesn't enter into the metagame. Just check the Mono blue control, Meandeck, montain win, growatog... I think they have difficulty to win a T1.5 mini. But maybe if you get always the good matchup, you can win with a burn deck or something like that. Also, the T1 metagame in magic-league is really weird, people don't play it often so they play, most of the time, the first t1 deck they see. by Vlada on 2007-06-27 13:24 EST shooter have small dingling by LONE_GUNMAN on 2007-06-27 14:01 EST i can tell the meta is screwy here, most of the stuff would get laughed out of real tournaments, but i the tournments are small so trash can win, this top 4 is good, except i dont see how the atog deck didnt run into sword to plowshares by LONE_GUNMAN on 2007-06-27 14:02 EST i can tell the meta is screwy here, most of the stuff would get laughed out of real tournaments, but i the tournments are small so trash can win, this top 4 is good, except i dont see how the atog deck didnt run into sword to plowshares by MTGFAN911 on 2007-06-27 17:26 EST "GAT isn't all that strong. by Tinefol on 2007-06-27 18:18 EST Yeah, he has a few ways to get, it, but there's only one copy. Like every vintage decks runs counters, so getting around that wish = Mage stays forever. Personally I'd drop the second mage named with Cunning Wish and now deal with it. by MTGFAN911 on 2007-06-27 21:03 EST as I said.. he needs 1-2 more by yavin1 on 2007-06-27 22:34 EST whats up with the volcanic island in the sideboard?
