1st!
Survival list is weak. STE seems really bad in this kind of decks, and 8 discards MD is too much.

by WoodSage on 2007-04-27 10:26 EST

I like the top lists and it's nice to see Survival at the top, but why no Ichorid?

Last Legacy tournament, 1 Ichorid = 2nd place, then one with 4 Ichorids that fell to hate, then one before that, 1 Ichorid = 1st place (me).

Also, I want to see the "new" Ichorid with Bridge to Below and other goodies from FS.

Ichorid > t1.5

by NahHolmes on 2007-04-27 11:18 EST

I wanted to play Burn, but I can't because all my MD stuff like Cursed Scroll, Price of Progress, and Lava Dart that make the deck really good against 90% of the feild make my game worse to everyone running these terrible Burn versions with Rift Bolt and Lava Spike. Too bad because Burn w/MD Price of Progress should be top tier with all these Duals running around but I can't stand losing to inferior versions of my deck so now I can't play it.

I call my deck "Vile Slivers!"

Congrats to Equionix(Vintage-) for another legacy win, his deck is setup very well, and he knows it in and out, he deserved to win. =)

That Survival build is awful, but congrats to dzy who is obviously a great player since he somehow did well with it.

by NihilCredo on 2007-04-27 16:42 EST

Seems to be much less of a Survival deck and much more of a Rock deck which uses SotF for card advantage and tutoring.

by Equinox- on 2007-04-27 17:40 EST

Alright lets clear the air. My deck is named Columbus Confinement (by the co-creator My irl teammate) and I've done very well with it irl. As for the survival deck Dzy said his friend built it for him and it's a ROCK deck that happens to play survival in it.

by CMA-Flippi on 2007-04-27 19:03 EST

i'm so sorry about my wrong namings, i just don't play eternal formats for long enough yet.
Changing them.

by Eldariel on 2007-04-27 19:34 EST

As for the discard, 8 MD-discard spells is really the minimum you'll want if you're serious about not scooping to combo.

by Volt on 2007-04-28 04:12 EST

Interesting CounterSliver list, QuantumDemon. Taking out Swords to Plowshares was certainly a bold choice. Did you miss them at all during your matches? Btw, I *really* think you need to fit a couple Harmonic Slivers into your sideboard.

by Quantumdemon on 2007-04-28 08:01 EST

Well the list I came up with is an improvement of the earlier list. However, mine is setup to beat the mirror. STP is dead in the mirror and a lot of matchups, so I splashed black for the only other good blue based sliver. After playing this trial, I'd actually cut the black and try something else, because there arent enough wrath effects to make Hibernation sliver a needed evil. Harmonic Sliver is a good idea in the board, but not maindeck. Perhaps STP or Counterspells =\. I'm not sure

EDIT: Upon further thinking, perhaps leave in black for vindicate, because vindi is sexy.
