Ya, I'm not a big fan of that burn list. No Magma Jets or other sorts of library manpulation meant he needed a lot of luck to get good draws, which he apparently did if he took 3rd. Also, I'm a strong advocate of Fork in burn, which he didn't run. Fork + Fireblast often wins games. Overall, I agree that the lists looks very thrown together, but if he was able to place with it, more power to him.

EDIT: Also, he ran no PoPs MD or SB, with which I strongly disagree.

No one runs Jackel Pup or Ball Lightning in burn. That would change the deck to RDW or sligh, which is a different deck.

this is M-L, what do you expect, and landstill is not a popular IRL deck anymore IIRC

and MWS owns solidarity in the face

If by MWS you mean 1/3 of the decks being fairly poor matchups, 9/10 decks having fairly anti-combo sideboard, and general lack of playskill for a deck that is extremely playskill intensive then I'd agree. MWS shuffler is fine, many of my Eternal points came from Solidarity when the meta was more friendly to it.

Nice version :) but strange that you lost to UG - I thought that was supposed to be a good matchup, though Wonder on Wonder action is tough.

I like Unmask better than Duress, and the Dread Return package main, especially the Chosen. And a 2nd Wonder either main or SB.

What are the Evincar and Plagues for? I don't usually reach 3 mana for the Plagues anyway.
