CMA-Flippi on 2007-04-19 07:28 MDT No metagame breakdown for this, as i am
by Malhavoc on 2007-04-19 08:01 MDT "TyranT" (sounds like the old T1T, of which mantains the average structure) is not very much like the classic Oath decks: it plays more like T1T infact, being not an aggro but a control with a control-combo finish.
by Malhavoc on 2007-04-19 08:18 MDT Here it is a deck breakdown:
by pwnz on 2007-04-19 09:14 MDT Yay, good job P_P4E!
by aceben3 on 2007-04-19 09:16 MDT i played rwg zoo, hoping to crush a bunch of uw fish decks. i changed my board at the last minute and i think it may have cost me the match vs a gifts storm deck. by P_P4E on 2007-04-19 10:26 MDT all the props to pwnz for the decklist. I havent played in like 5 months so i obv got redic lucky most likely. by darkring on 2007-04-19 11:49 MDT omg ... drain slaver? what slaver dont play drains? lol ...
by Eldariel on 2007-04-19 11:57 MDT darkring: Technically, Workshop Slaver exists. Just nobody has played it for a few years. Still, since it used to exist, the name of Drain Slaver has carried over as a distinction from Workshop Slaver. by mp26 on 2007-04-19 13:22 MDT I wonder if there is a good vintage deck that doesn't have 4 brainstorm by nasa on 2007-04-19 13:45 MDT i love your summary CMA

by Malhavoc on 2007-04-19 16:17 MDT Really, I risked a bit not bouncing your Infestation before bouncing your lands and everything else.. fortunately I had enough gas to bounce enough zombies too, but I really took a unnecessary risk with that bad mistake.. I was just more in hurry to destroy your manabase after you drew so many cards with AK and ywill (AK mirrors can be deadly when you realize too late your opponent is running them too!).
by rafaruggi on 2007-04-19 21:34 MDT I think Salvagers its pretty good at Oath. Lotus + Pyrite + Yawgmoth's Will. Yay! by warwizard87 on 2007-04-20 01:39 MDT by Laplie on 2007-04-19 17:28 EDT
by Malhavoc on 2007-04-20 03:46 MDT Ichorid is indeed strong, and wins many game 1. But just dies to side hate in the form of tormods, pithing, leyline and such; of course if the opponent is not prepared with grave hate it's another story. Personally, I find it boring to play too, since it's quite brainless and plays on its own, without any real added benefit from the player's skill. But it's indeed strong. by _Jitte_ on 2007-04-25 17:26 MDT Hey Malhvoc congrats, we play together in the quarter finals and i drop when we go 1-1.
