by Blah234 on 2007-03-26 05:10 MDT Yea in your face to people who thought Solar Flare was bad =\ ...even though that SB needs a little re-working and all 4 Castigates should be MD by DaanP on 2007-03-26 05:32 MDT hey, i got a great idea! let's all copy the japanese decks card for card! by WiCkEdWiZaRd on 2007-03-26 05:36 MDT Good Idea by Mastikor on 2007-03-26 05:41 MDT UR Tron is DOMINATING!!!
by Vlada on 2007-03-26 05:42 MDT p3nis,congratulations pollo and kaesh on top8, and paulo on 2nd place, rest of randoms can DIAF by ringman on 2007-03-26 05:54 MDT congratz u all
by Meatwarz on 2007-03-26 06:49 MDT Actually abunas and paulo splitted the prize and didn't play the finals. by joaodanneman on 2007-03-26 07:35 MDT Congratz Paulote!!!
by Balthazar88 on 2007-03-26 07:45 MDT Props to all in top8. I'm pleased to see Red Deck Wins is fighting there, even thou' that he doesn't run Ghost Quarters MD and no Blood Moon SB. Also i'm surprised by the lack of Dredge decks... Only 1 was in contention. It seems really good in the current meta game, recursive threats and Life from the Loam + Ghost Quarter is really strong.
by Wichtelman on 2007-03-26 08:02 MDT japanese>all obv xD

by Clash on 2007-03-26 10:09 MDT In my opinion Judge, Solar Flare isn't a great deck, he has bad matchups with a lot of decks... by RuSheR on 2007-03-26 10:13 MDT 1st by onecleanceli on 2007-03-26 10:20 MDT congratulations on copying decks card for card, good originality.... by Spyx on 2007-03-26 10:52 MDT netdeckers strike again by Shagrath on 2007-03-26 10:58 MDT ty for the top8 for being so original, amazing i don't see a single netdeck.
by FlyingFreak on 2007-03-26 11:21 MDT What do you people have against netdecks ? The players who plays best with the deck just own (take a look at pollo), so stfu and practice your playskills ... by PolarBearGod on 2007-03-26 12:29 MDT -_-
by SkaTista on 2007-03-26 12:42 MDT Congratus Paulo_Tee. \o/
by Eldariel on 2007-03-26 12:53 MDT It's funny how westerners just give up good decks like BoW and Solar Flare and then Japanese pwn everyone with them and westerners pick 'em up again for a while until they think they've done something innovative up until when Japanese win with theirs YET again. by Blah234 on 2007-03-26 13:35 MDT Solar Flare has a lot of bad match-ups? Like what? Say the deck and why Flare is bad vs it. Ppl who said Tron - the most they said is Spell Burst. Hmmm Flare has Quarters to stop the Tron, Castigates and Persecutes, Angels and SB Annexes and CoP Red. Oh yea Flare def sucks =/ by TylerTMK on 2007-03-26 13:51 MDT detritivore pwns flare by Abunas on 2007-03-26 14:04 MDT i took the deck from Gp in japan, but thats what we all do right? at least if you want to get a decent result.
by ptealixpaint on 2007-03-26 14:06 MDT Rofl @ all these hardcore netdecks. by Maga75 on 2007-03-26 14:26 MDT Mono Red Aggro without solifuge??? by bizenrick on 2007-03-26 14:28 MDT congratz Paulo_tte !!!!!
by bizenrick on 2007-03-26 14:29 MDT congratz Paulo_tte !!!!!
by Blah234 on 2007-03-26 14:55 MDT Hmm, Detritivore pwnz Flare? Oh Flare can run several basics in it's mana base and it already run several signets and an even remotely effective Detritivore comes out mid game and by that time, Flare can have some good basics/signets out so how would Detritivore do much? I faced it with Flare and it basically just killed the extra mana that I didn't really need. by center425 on 2007-03-26 15:05 MDT hmm, i'd listen to tyler by SarcasticRat on 2007-03-26 15:15 MDT Let's give props to the real winner of this trial. Of course I'm talking about Wiley, who beat a Tron player in round one playing 300 Card Zoo. by Blah234 on 2007-03-26 15:22 MDT Point is, Solar Flare and DStorm > Tron. Period. Saying Detritivore pwnz Flare is pretty stupid and seriously, play the match several times with Flare having 4 Castigates and 2-3 Persecute MD and 4 Annex and 3 CoP: Red SB. Tron won't win unless Flare gets a busted draw by Russell_Nash on 2007-03-26 16:15 MDT 5 top 8 UR-trons....flipping ridiculous. that archetype is supposed to be dead...
by GTKID on 2007-03-26 18:01 MDT I love deck critique from the peanut gallery. Get a life, not every deck list is gonna agree card for card with what you think it should be. by SkaTista on 2007-03-26 18:27 MDT astekas >>> all by SaTiVa on 2007-03-26 20:47 MDT Question 2 mind blaze is that whole sb aimed towards control?
by SaTiVa on 2007-03-26 20:47 MDT Question 2 mind blaze is that whole sb aimed towards control?
by PsyK on 2007-03-26 20:56 MDT Which is better in MR Agro? Gruul or Rakdos Guildie? Also i think brute force is slightly better than shock. Then again i'm not top 8'ing am i :P by poopascoopa on 2007-03-26 20:57 MDT The amount of netdecking morons around here is getting out of hand. Doesn't ANYONE try to be a little creative and build their own deck?
by sandoiche on 2007-03-26 21:41 MDT No. by Snack on 2007-03-26 21:49 MDT Props on the UBr tron deck. Otherwise, this tournament is pretty much useless in terms of information. by Fanboy on 2007-03-26 22:30 MDT Theres gonna be a shit load of detrivore and blood moon decks in next t2 trial to offest all the tron net decking.
by Egnirys on 2007-03-26 22:36 MDT You can try to, and either:
by misterhappy on 2007-03-27 02:32 MDT Congratz to all the winers!!!Tronz rules!!! by Balthazar88 on 2007-03-27 04:10 MDT @ Psyk: I would say Gruul, but on the flipside doesn't either of them have a good syenergy with Magus of the Scroll. The guildmages wants you to deploy all lands in your hand, while the Magus wants you to keep that last land in your hand. Keldon Marauders is actuly quite good in the meta game with Control running around (w/ Repeal). Shock seems > Brute Force to me. Brute Force might be better in the mirror, but the meta is controly as we see.
by Mindblaze on 2007-03-27 07:16 MDT It's all about consistency, with just 20 lands you don't get 4 for Solifuge when you need to play it. I had Keldon Marauders first, but they didn't impress me at all, Gruul Guildmage has proven to be far superior in every way. My sideboard was useless (didn't use a single card) but the MD is perfect. by Kaesh on 2007-03-27 09:17 MDT ok cockburglar :D by Russell_Nash on 2007-03-27 11:30 MDT Mindblaze: i like the storageland/demonfire SB. What matchups did/would you bring this in for? something with a little lifegain?
by Mindblaze on 2007-03-28 10:10 MDT Glad to see you've grown up so much since imagic, Polish guy :)
by Mirage on 2007-03-28 12:28 MDT What happened to my beautiful magic league metagame? it was so fun. by Alandariel on 2007-03-31 20:21 MDT Congrats everyone.
