1st
Finals were really fun

by Columbus on 2007-01-28 15:31 MDT

Hooray for the cheesy netdecks. So much raw talent here.

zzzzzzz

by Paellin on 2007-01-28 15:47 MDT

( . )_( . ) someone played a Green LD deck...

by yavin1 on 2007-01-28 16:36 MDT

if anyone runs BW with anything, orzhov pontif wrecks opposition should it become a major meta player

by Erebus- on 2007-01-28 18:20 MDT

even if pontiff is played, opposition has stifle in side along with a couple voidslimes sometimes.

by SOAD on 2007-01-28 19:11 MDT

Opposition OWNS
and its very funny when you reveal lands with oracle, because you can get opposition like that in 3rd turn ready to tap-out your oppo. XD
BTW Caller of the Claw is tech

by center425 on 2007-01-28 19:50 MDT

Yeah i have thought of caller and cord and some bullets but this verison works better.

by Eldariel on 2007-01-28 22:28 MDT

Opposition is hardly the first deck BW needs to worry about >_>

by Linkman on 2007-01-29 02:32 MDT

Yea. Well, I loved the finals, Center ^^ Very good games. Oh yeah. And double spectral hit me for 16 ;) +jitte >.>

Well, unlike you Columbus, we do have skill. It's called PLAY SKILL. I dare you to take my deck and play it in a trial. I doubt you'll even win a match.

by RuSheR on 2007-01-29 03:23 MDT

10th

rofl opposition sucks laaaaaaaarge -_-' oh well.

PS: <3 r4Nd0m :D

by Vlada on 2007-01-29 06:31 MDT

Guys congratuations, all four top4 decks are cool, especialy 1st i so like hybrid decks ;).Congratulations TeknoLink on 1st place, yes deck you played can be really hard sometimes to play with(well more then many decks)...

by Linkman on 2007-01-29 08:02 MDT

I faced 5 different decks.

Round 1: 5 Color Zoo.

It was pretty much game over when balance came down, also when I started trading 2 for 1. Helix on a stick does the job.

Round 3: Balance Tog

I was able to get his balance by playing an explosives and wiping his, then played a balance on my turn for the win.

Round 4: Aggro Flow

I was just barely able to win this one. Game three an early flow was kinda bad for me, but I managed to win by searching only basics.

Round 5: UW Tron

A mage on Repeal and one on Wrath (Always wrath first) did the trick for game 1. Game 2 I got stuffied, while game 3 I had the answers to his stuffy, and won.

Round 6: UG opposition

Great match. I made a few slipups, since it was getting late, like, forgetting to use top in response to a 1 mana creature.

Eventually game 3 was decided by helix on a stick.

by RuSheR on 2007-01-29 10:29 MDT

wow man... i almost cryed

by Dan_G on 2007-01-29 11:03 MDT

the 1st placed deck looks like its trying to play too many decks in one go. Seems a bit weird to me

by Vodka_7up on 2007-01-29 11:18 MDT

Why no Viridian Zealot's in the Opposition deck?

by Linkman on 2007-01-29 12:00 MDT

DannyG: You look like you're hitting the submit button too often.

by Shooter on 2007-01-29 14:56 MDT

Why the hell everyone calls my deck aggro flow? The only aggro card there is bob =/
Linkman, the games u won u had 4 basic lands + 2 exalted. Obv that games I can't draw deeds or 2 putrefys =/
great job anyways

by kitty on 2007-01-29 16:49 MDT

y does everyone copy my stuffytron deck

by fugii on 2007-01-29 16:57 MDT

TeknoLink: your deck eh?

by TylerTMK on 2007-01-29 17:04 MDT

I don't think scepter belongs in trinket angel, its not what the deck is trying to do. So it makes your aggro and combo matchups better, which are already very good, but doesnt do anything to help vs uw tron/post :/

by Bozo on 2007-01-29 18:00 MDT

What do you board Nodes in against? UG?

by Rath on 2007-01-29 18:35 MDT

I agree with TylerTMK, I've been playing Solution for about a month, and it already rolls the aggro decks and if there was a change to the maindeck I would just make it better vs Tron or other control. I personally am using the Lighting Angel approach and then sb to help against Tron.

by GTKID on 2007-01-29 18:51 MDT

People need to get over someone naming there deck wrong. As to people copying "your" stuffytron, I guess they like to play bad decks :-/

by twndomn on 2007-01-29 23:28 MDT

Porphyry Nodes??? omg....

by Linkman on 2007-01-30 01:54 MDT

@Bozo: Nodes vs Boros is almost an auto win. It slows them down enough so you can race them with helix scepter. I haven't faced Boros enough yet to be sure they're needed.

@Shooter: Maybe because I used all my saclands to go for Basics. It's simple really. Why bother to get non-basics when you play flow?

@Fugii: With 'my deck' I meant the deck as a whole, and play it.

@TylerTMK: I play chant because it works against so many decks. UG Opposition has no MD outs vs Chant. So does Slide. UW Tron has to get rid of the scepter before they even can start playing, so a Mage on Repeal and a scepter is usually GG. It just gives that little edge. Also, you don't always have to use chant to be on the stick, I've used it often to drop 2 mages in 1 turn, and then shutting down their entire deck.

by SL|RedDemon on 2007-01-30 02:16 MDT

the top 4 looks like the gayest compilation of gay decks ive seen in recent times ^^

by Linkman on 2007-01-30 11:34 MDT

Lol. Try playing more, SL.

by jocke on 2007-02-05 09:09 MDT

hehe lol at fugi xD

by fugii on 2007-02-05 17:09 MDT
