by ChristPunchr on 2007-01-16 19:33 MDT Who gives a fuck if the UW is eightpost or tron. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
by bobjackson on 2007-01-16 19:52 MDT Who gives a fuck if the UW is eightpost or tron. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
by BloodyAngel on 2007-01-16 20:09 MDT how could 2 uw tron and that goblin survived boros and destructive flow? o m g crappy decklists btw by Spyx on 2007-01-16 20:25 MDT Derek you are a hero! Heartbeat ftw!
by Derek on 2007-01-16 20:37 MDT obv =] by kamikaze360 on 2007-01-16 21:11 MDT pwnz deck rules! what's up dude? by Horrendous on 2007-01-17 02:26 MDT My heart beats like drum... like drum... drum,drum,drum... :-) by RuSheR on 2007-01-17 02:32 MDT boros deck sucks wake up guys by twndomn on 2007-01-17 02:37 MDT That heartbeat is called Nevermind.
by ChristPunchr on 2007-01-17 02:59 MDT You almost won, Bob. I guess pwnz won. Grats to all.
by Eldariel on 2007-01-17 04:39 MDT 8-post is more vulnerable early on, but stronger later on. It's all a toss-up on what you expect. On another note, the meta is so ripe for Deadguy to rip it up again. by rafaruggi on 2007-01-17 08:26 MDT I dont like that Goblins decklist, but it beat me with that single goblin pyromancer =(. I'm sad. by bobjackson on 2007-01-17 08:46 MDT Aside from coming into play tapped, eight post is better than tron in every way. Hell, eight post doesn't even need to sweat getting colour-fucked one third less of the time than tron. Gogo eight post...a more consistant choice. It occured to me that my worthless hate shouldn't go to eightpost.
by sandoiche on 2007-01-17 08:54 MDT sad, i had to drop in round 3, but i think i could bet that goblin :(
by Derek on 2007-01-17 09:56 MDT That heartbeat is called Nevermind.
by ChristPunchr on 2007-01-17 11:34 MDT Yeah Bob, but I would rather bank on drawing a 'post than all pieces of a tron set. Besides eight post seemed to win.
by therooster on 2007-01-17 12:11 MDT The way I see it, if you draw 2 cloudposts, you get 4 mana. If you draw 3 tron pieces and fail to complete the set, you are getting 3 colorless from 3 lands.
by ChristPunchr on 2007-01-17 12:58 MDT Thing with posts is that you also get the same mana advantage for playing the second one, so whatever. Fuck tron. by Wolfo on 2007-01-17 18:05 MDT He said it correctly. It is called Nevermind. I honestly think it is alot more consistant than TEPS
by Crassus_PL on 2007-01-18 13:44 MDT Played a bit with this 8-post UW and i thought that splashing 2 dual lands with G in it + more fetch lands + 2 gifts ungiven to search for life from the loam, cloudpost, vesuva, academy ruins (or a mindslaver instead of 1 of these cards if we don't have 1 in a grave or on the hand) to get the lands back with loam and lock the opponent with mindslaver and academy ruins a litle faster would be a good idea. I made some cosmetic changes and here it is:
