by Spyx on 2007-01-11 03:20 MDT

netdeckers strike again :(

by Shagrath on 2007-01-11 03:35 MDT

Ravenous baloth as the(only) winning condition? Let me laugh.
I guess i'll run a random monocolored deck to pwn ppl in next trial cuz i can bet that 50% of the ppl that will go to next extended trial will run this pile. xD
P.S : Like MGA

by Horrendous on 2007-01-11 04:24 MDT

Netdecking isn't autowin. Not everyone with netdeck is able to win with it ;-)

by kreff on 2007-01-11 05:16 MDT

check all list and let me know how many people isnt netdecking :P

by Shagrath on 2007-01-11 05:43 MDT

No1 is talking against netdeckers, i just think that baloth as the only winning condition isn´t enough, or at least some1 could explain how this deck win without baloth. sakura beatdown?!

by Eldariel on 2007-01-11 06:08 MDT

I lost to UW Tron with BW Deadguy, that was horrible.

by reqsamurai on 2007-01-11 06:18 MDT

"I lost to UW Tron with BW Deadguy, that was horrible."

Sorry, you were topdecking bullshit and I had all I need... :) Also I had something to deal with Confidant, which was essential. I lost in finals to that Flow build which runs Confidant, which won game 2 with a help of two Flows.

by therooster on 2007-01-11 08:16 MDT

Well those flow rock builds are much more "control" oriented. Control decks usually don't run many win conditions, since they need the room for other control cards.

Having Confidant, Witness and Baloth as win conditions is definitly fine vs control, and you can board in calls vs Aggro probably.

someone understood how the deck works

since u have the right cards for each matchup in play, dont matter how many time it will take to win, or how you'll.

and it's an excellent deck to m-l, because lots of players here play azoritron, what is good mu

by qwert10 on 2007-01-11 08:42 MDT

Heh no bop/elf make Destructive Flow bad :(

by Shagrath on 2007-01-11 08:46 MDT

I guess that if u/w is being piloted by a good player vs that version of flow rock, he will not have problems beating it, unless u get a god-hand or something.
Even against control doesn´t seem to be enough to have only baloth, confidant and witness for beatdown.
And btw All > Brasil :P
P.S : Oh i forgot Sakura -.-.

I agree. Having flow without bops/elves seems bad. But i guess that elves/bops aren´t good with deed main also. :P

by nasa on 2007-01-11 09:19 MDT

yea i really think what makes flow so good is the threat of land destruction starting turn 2, regardless grats.

by therooster on 2007-01-11 09:23 MDT

If you get a post board hand of Duress, Therapy, Flow, 3 lands and some random card vs Azoritron, I don't see them recovering that easily. Maybe even just a single therapy, if you know what to hit ;) They would have to get lucky and draw enough basics to overcome this.

Also, this is NOT a beatdown deck. The Rock can take many forms, including Aggro, Aggro Control and Control. Here we find the latter. This deck doesn't need to be bogged down with Jittes, Swords, Trolls or whatever. It instead aims for a much different gameplan of gaining control through various means and then beating down with 1-2 threats late game.

I do agree that it might not hurt to have a little more backup here, perhaps replacing one of the Flows with a Genesis or something.

no no no grazt to reqsamurai auto pilote deck cool

by Shooter on 2007-01-11 12:00 MDT

Archimede: Ppl say that I netdecked, but I don't know
from where =[

For you guys, sandoiche has the same list as me just because we're teammates, and usually I gave him the lists and he plays them =D (like solution)

Destructive Flow is good anytime. Instead of BoP/EoDS
I play disruption, which is MUCH better vs hmm... everything.

Now a little report to you all know the matches:
1° vs. Ideal - Flow + discards take it 2x1
2° vs. affinity - Deed > affinity - Grudge > Needle 2x0
3° Stuffy Tron - He combo'd me 2° game, but the match is so favorable to flow 2x1
4° boros - Baloth,witness baloth,baloth,witness baloth... 2x0
5° gifts rock - I lucked out this one =D 2x0
6° mirror - Well, I drew better. 2x0
7° Azoritron - Like I said, too much favorable 2x0

Plz say this deck is shit so I won't have to play vs. it. See you all =D

by TylerTMK on 2007-01-11 12:16 MDT

That deck is shit don't play it :p

by roocker on 2007-01-11 14:34 MDT

That flow rock deck is just a metagame deck for the moment... you win vs all control decks with it and thats what good people in the league play. Its's also decent against most combo... but dont dare to say that beats aggro ... specially affinity .. no birds ... no living wish.. Well obv affinity and boros are the less popular decks on the league, which casually happen to be 2 of the best decks on the format..

by ChristPunchr on 2007-01-11 14:54 MDT

It sort of depends what kind of aggro you're talking about. Good job people that have bothered to post how rock works...ie: Disruption, Solid creatures that do good things, cards that solve a variety of problems with other decks.

I bet that is complete news to some, even though rock has been around for about SEVEN FUCKING YEARS.

Good job all in top four, flow deck wins is jank but actual Aggro/Ctrl flow is dope, bootrosbootrosbootros.

by mago_003 on 2007-01-11 16:19 MDT

gongratz sandoiche and shooter ^^

gogogo master \o/

by twndomn on 2007-01-11 21:25 MDT

Why there is no deck distribution? You guys don't publish that anymore?

by Spyx on 2007-01-12 12:00 MDT

question: what's the point of the snow lands in flow rock?

by Shooter on 2007-01-12 15:35 MDT

Spyx: They're cool =D

by gamerXXXX on 2007-01-23 12:32 MDT

ok no one play spiritmonger anymore. and the snow lands are not needed but ppl are odd owell.
