Gerrardfo on 2006-12-28 15:52 MDT Meta Breakdown:
by Eldariel on 2006-12-28 15:56 MDT Stupid mulligans costing me the tournament >.< G.G Babar, and sorry to anyone, against whom I spent all my luck (you know who you are). by Ch0b1 on 2006-12-28 16:09 MDT SeconD! by Babar on 2006-12-28 16:17 MDT ThIrD ! great match Eldariel and Thx Kaesh for this fun game with one land each player and war against weathfarers ! by WiCkEdWiZaRd on 2006-12-28 16:21 MDT More millstones:/
by Taoofss on 2006-12-28 16:25 MDT time to play discard again, discard>life gain. by Bejeezus on 2006-12-28 16:56 MDT Sixth!
by BloodyAngel on 2006-12-28 18:19 MDT omg what a crappy top 2, enjoy ur luck while it last by yavin1 on 2006-12-28 18:32 MDT i like both those list. GJ BW control (even though you extend off martyrtron which i despise) and snow blue men. i never thought id see either of the decks in trial placers again. Also, in snow blue men, why no vexing spynx? GJ all by kevinconvery on 2006-12-28 18:55 MDT that BW list is very good, congrats to Babar but Eldariel, much respect for coming up with a great list for blue beats. Gotta try that.
by aggroking on 2006-12-28 20:49 MDT grats to aggroking fo placing 4th with a 3:0 drop.
by thedarkness on 2006-12-28 20:51 MDT Yeah..nobody listened to my "random jank in 1700+ trials" comment..but nobody NOTICED my "not all random jank is bad" side comment. -.-
by Babar on 2006-12-28 21:04 MDT I played against Zoo, UG aggro, Rider Blink, Wu Martyrtron and Snowblue men, I think it s tier one decks exept the last fun one ^^ (sideboard wasn't tested...) by Domesplitter on 2006-12-28 21:27 MDT and once agian no one plays moratorum stone by koby on 2006-12-28 21:54 MDT Nice BW build congrats on win. by WasD on 2006-12-28 23:14 MDT grats Kaesh and aggroking ^^ by DragonMago on 2006-12-29 00:40 MDT I will try to write an article on how long do these posts need to degenerate in a flame war, but you can be sure they ALWAYS degenerate in a flame war.
by Eldariel on 2006-12-29 01:43 MDT yavin: I had Sphinx in there, but simply put, it has too low a life expectancy for the deck. I cut on the 3-caster creatures in general as I want to be countering Wraths and such at that point. I've got an Ubr Madness-deck where it shines though.
by _polaris- on 2006-12-29 03:17 MDT Nice trial good to see some diversity to the meta.
by PV on 2006-12-29 04:35 MDT I really really like the first place deck, very good job
by tato- on 2006-12-29 10:59 MDT Omg top2 decks are awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! by kokusho6 on 2006-12-29 12:59 MDT the mono U men top 8ed in a master its not that bad, and all u haters wheres ur deck?? by Taoofss on 2006-12-29 13:13 MDT question about the top deck, no sacred mesa? seems better in the deck than chronosavant. by PsyK on 2006-12-29 20:48 MDT grr martyr of poop, ruins the metagame :P by Lackeos on 2006-12-30 03:49 MDT Why is it that good players always play good decks and always top 4, while random players play random decks and randomly top 4?
by ChristPunchr on 2006-12-30 04:04 MDT Established players use tried tested and true staples generally, while randoms fuck around a bit more(generally speaking), methinks.
by NoV on 2007-01-01 17:13 MDT Good job Babar .
by Babar on 2007-01-01 17:45 MDT I didn't try but yes 15 black card main deck seems to be enough with zombify opportunity. by NoV on 2007-01-01 18:00 MDT and I'm currently testing demonic collusion instead of diabolic tutor , pretty awesome buybacking tutor with arena on play and some stuff like chronosavant or martyrs to discard .
