by Circa on 2006-08-26 13:15 MDT

MW|Core FTW.

by goodgame on 2006-08-26 13:20 MDT

yeah, these types of janky decks may win on m-l but there is ABSOLUTELY no way they would win irl. I mean, I can pretty much guarantee that they wont t8 any nats.

by aggroking on 2006-08-26 13:22 MDT

of course they can if a good player play s theim

by MW|Core on 2006-08-26 13:25 MDT

edit: er, i think you were sarcastic :S

by kebe on 2006-08-26 13:40 MDT

i HOPE he was sarcastic and not just dumb

by goodgame on 2006-08-26 13:42 MDT

hehehe, my post was ambiguous enough to confuse stupid ppl :)

by Streakz on 2006-08-26 14:06 MDT

scrubhater reminds me of an American version of launamaleto or w/e the fuck that guys name is

by nephilim206 on 2006-08-26 14:07 MDT

Nice top 3! Congrats. My favorite color combination in Standard was always UB, so I am VERY happy about the winning decks. And all of the decks have blue in them... I think blue is the best color in standard right now. Again, congrats.

by Meatwarz on 2006-08-26 14:20 MDT

Just japaneese guys don't fear to experimintate and try something new..

by cimc on 2006-08-26 14:37 MDT

vore is still vore the rest just looks bad anyway t2 with coldsnap doesnt really matter if nationals was bfr

by kreff on 2006-08-26 14:55 MDT

the deck i played is ubw,not only ub... :(
grats core ;)

by thinktank on 2006-08-26 15:12 MDT

dont diss the deck man, if core plays it, it can't be bad..... nice job core!

by Void06 on 2006-08-26 15:53 MDT

every deck is blue now

by DaZogger on 2006-08-26 16:19 MDT

das allerleckerste

by Spartacus on 2006-08-26 16:37 MDT

UNfortunately Void06 is right!! CS suck!

by Pete278 on 2006-08-26 18:12 MDT

I like how the Vore plays 6 mountains and 9 Islands :P.

by Dr_Moo on 2006-08-26 18:34 MDT

in addition to there be more blue cards, there are 4 with double-blue requirements. that would appear to be a fine split.

by Buffalo_Wing on 2006-08-26 19:05 MDT

ya man cs suxxxxx so much that there were many cs cards played in jap t8!!1
ironfoot sheets snow lands snow duals valkyrie counterbalance commandeer snag etc.

by MaksymG on 2006-08-26 20:35 MDT

because it runs remove soul? japanese players are not good because they experiment they are good because what u perceive as experimentation is really the results of countless hours of practice and ingenious deck designing....

by goodgame on 2006-08-26 20:36 MDT

God, everytime I consider becoming pro-life, all I have to do is visit the M-L forums.

by vizion_15 on 2006-08-26 22:04 MDT

nice top 3 i dont real like the new sinergy but still good deck grats to all nice job :)

by center425 on 2006-08-26 22:48 MDT

nice net decks of the japenese. like the UB

by Cypher- on 2006-08-26 23:14 MDT

by scrubhater on 2006-08-26 18:42 EDT

hehehe, my post was ambiguous enough to confuse stupid ppl :)

Yeah...right
It was obvious you were trying an attempt at trolling but failed miserable. Then tried to cover up your ignorance by basing it on being ambigious, lol.

As for launameto, grow up. All you do is insult others and atempt to know what you're talking about when you can't even break even on ratings.

by AlexTrebek on 2006-08-26 23:20 MDT

losing to the trial winner in the first round! w00 go me!

by WasD on 2006-08-26 23:25 MDT

rofl @ Core & kreff, netdecking aint good!

by Re-Venge on 2006-08-27 00:57 MDT

why not say that to the vore player as well? or how bout the other 9/10 of the people that played eh? truth is you wont stop netdecking unless you can get rid of the internet. And you speak of it like its bad. Since when was playing good decks a bad thing? id rather play vs proven decks than random jank and get easy wins.

by Tsumuki on 2006-08-27 02:04 MDT

Man when people netdeck its horrible. I mean u know exactly what ur going to face. They will have almost no surprises for you AND you know exactly what its weak and strong points are. Ya I hate netdeckers, dang................ i mean knowing what u have to do to win must really suck.

Either way there is no completely original deck. Any deck can be considered netdecked. Just get a life and play THE GAME, after all thats what it is A GAME!!!

by Dan_G on 2006-08-27 04:43 MDT

face it scrubhater u got served!

by aggroking on 2006-08-27 04:57 MDT

btw gj core.

by Mandos on 2006-08-27 06:37 MDT

Is it just me or does the UB deck has real problems facing zoo or gruul or things like it?
Well he cant do a shit gainst first turn isamaru and whenewer he taps out for a critter like BOB or foot u have free mana opne to cast burn on bob or foot or even more critters. An only play 3 booms in maindeck:S. Oh and you shouldnt forget to burn him at end of his own turn:) After sb it should be more of an even match. What do ya think guys?

by Pete278 on 2006-08-27 06:55 MDT

by Dr_Moo on 2006-08-26 20:34 EDT

in addition to there be more blue cards, there are 4 with double-blue requirements. that would appear to be a fine split.

You clearly didn't get the joke. 6 Mountains, 9 Islands, 69..get it yet?

by Trotsky1 on 2006-08-27 07:36 MDT

Scrubhater was clearly being sarcastic, why else would he set himself upo with a line like, I mean, I can pretty much guarantee that they wont t8 any nats. Its too much of a coincidence the amount of times people fail to get simple sarcasm, the so called lowest form of wit on these forums is worrying.

by JoelMonteiro on 2006-08-27 07:46 MDT

WOW!really fast netdeckers on the top8!
The guy who placed second has Mori´s deck from the Japs Nationals!Even the SB is the same!

by RichardDWade on 2006-08-27 08:08 MDT

It's nice that luanamento has gotten an act named after him.. Posting stupid thoughts... Now scrubhater has just pulled a luanamento. I hate those guys.. Good job on the non-norm decks guys. (except of course the ur vore)

by Djinn on 2006-08-27 08:34 MDT

So, that's the deal: I'm testing for nats, I see new decks in japan top8. What can I do better than playing a m-l trial to test them? The decks must be good, and so are the players that made to the finals, haven't played the deck and finishing with such a nice score. If there's any place I'd use netdecks to test them and check if they suit my game style that's magic-league. Also, if there's any place I'd use to test new decks, that's magic-league. Don't know why the hate on netdecks/"casual" decks. Remember that's a place to play and test.

Greets!

by kfcman1084 on 2006-08-27 09:52 MDT

djinn
amen

by Luisbo on 2006-08-27 10:32 MDT

Netdecks = Competitive decks, most of them

by theMike on 2006-08-27 12:25 MDT

Yeah, why would you want to play a good deck? It's very 'cheap' to the rest of us who refuse to use a good deck because it did well in a tourny.

by the_guy_123 on 2006-08-27 14:11 MDT

Is Phyrexian Ironfoot really that good?

by ChristPunchr on 2006-08-27 14:46 MDT

Yes.

by Mr-e-kid on 2006-08-27 14:53 MDT

CS is adding a nice amount to t2

w00t

by MW|Core on 2006-08-27 14:54 MDT

no it´s better :(

by the_guy_123 on 2006-08-27 15:06 MDT

Why? 'Cause you can untap it whenever?

by misterhappy on 2006-08-27 23:00 MDT

good game!!! Control rules the tops with confindant!!!

by Plubby on 2006-08-28 04:58 MDT

the_guy: cos it gets in front of weenies all day long, is an answer to paladin - and can play offense AND defense.

by wasted on 2006-08-28 07:19 MDT

scrubhater you f***ing moron, that's the 1st place
japanese nationals deck. Your the only flame loving
dumb a** i see on here, always trying to put m-l down
. Just shows how much you really know

by shadowlancer on 2006-08-28 16:57 MDT

wasted - been there, done that

Plubby - not to mention almost every critter in RG Beats (which is 1/5 of my store's meta)

so that everyone is aware, the deck Mori played in the nats was actually designed by Tomohiro Kaji (not like it really matters)

Core - your mana base is interesting. did you ever have a problem with the UU casting costs for Hinder, Rewind, and Boomerang?

there really aren't any tier 1 decks in t2 that don't run blue... Heez is probably closest

by Yavimaya73 on 2006-08-28 23:53 MDT

yawn...next idea please
