1 away.... but.. nice decks yall

by dv8r on 2006-08-24 08:32 MDT

submitted wrong deck for trial, obviously run legendary lands, as they act as ld of a sort

by Spooge on 2006-08-24 08:33 MDT

Must have been alot of solar flares for vore to get first. Also why no sacred grounds in sb for vore since it is the worst match ups u cant lose the vore match ups when one hits the field. by time they go boomrang fire ur already got a dragon or a ccounter to stop it.

by vizion_15 on 2006-08-24 08:33 MDT

1 to say 1 woot mangivore ?????????????? dv8r i love you im a fan :)

by dv8r on 2006-08-24 08:54 MDT

Spooge, I played vs 1 solar flare in this trial, and didn't get a single bye, I won all my games in that master (aggro every round bar one, which was heartbeat), and only lost in a top 8 to a misplay on mulligans on my part (which is no excuse I know, the only skill required to play vore is in mulliganning). Sacred ground does almost NOTHING against my build of vore, 8 bounce? annex? shattering spree? don't piss me off by blaming my win on luck and solar flare...

by Goji on 2006-08-24 10:02 MDT

Good response dv8r, just cause the top 4 is control doesnt mean the whole tourney is that away.. mostly in a tourney there is aggro rounds 1 2 and 3 then the control is in the finals...and gj dv8r

by Synch- on 2006-08-24 10:10 MDT

good build dv8r.

by snoopster on 2006-08-24 10:27 MDT

sandler is so much better than everyone else in this trial.

by Rath on 2006-08-24 10:54 MDT

I'd like to congradulate dv8r not only for his win, but for his non-flame response to Sacred Ground...sure it's effective against traditional land destruction..however by no means disable it. PLus...I love it when somebody randomly slams down sacred ground, thinking that's game, and still has no answers for a giant Magnivore...

by Goblin2006 on 2006-08-24 11:21 MDT

dv8r is a good player... ive paid attention to a couple of his matches in the past... he didnt win by byes or anything similar to that. Omg i sound like a stalker :P

by Chek on 2006-08-24 11:26 MDT

Congrats on coming in 5th, Mr. Cox

Well it apparently didn't do him any good seeing as he's not 1st. Don't troll, it only shows your immaturity.

by PV on 2006-08-24 11:57 MDT

I have no clue how dv8r can possibly beat any form of aggro deck, sorry

I played.

by Chek on 2006-08-24 12:56 MDT

PV, that's what I said, but w/e. Maybe you should play in the next trial Mr. Paula Vitor

by mario on 2006-08-24 13:18 MDT

PV he do something with the lands , he keeps mana opens for counter(eich he doesn't have) and attack with giant magnivores...

by kikimikejiki on 2006-08-24 13:29 MDT

pv he obviously started every game and they never had a one drop

by Synch- on 2006-08-24 13:36 MDT

with 1 more wildfire than normal builds and twice as much bounce, it's as simple as staying alive until wildfire and clearing their entire board (bouncing pal and very large creatures)

by blackcat77 on 2006-08-24 13:53 MDT

Dv8r is my hero. I asked him to win and he did. hard to fault the build guys he did win after all.

by Rodry on 2006-08-24 15:51 MDT

we cant beat dv8r, I forgot to join in trial >_>

by Rotstejn on 2006-08-24 15:54 MDT

Why does dv8r plays my nationals and not the UK Nats ? :'(

by Ownj00 on 2006-08-24 16:33 MDT

Go cimc. You always play decks I have irl!

by Streakz on 2006-08-24 23:32 MDT

Josh, what the fuck is Martyr of Sands doing in your sideboard? I don't think any amount of explaining will ever help me to fully understand the decision behind that.
