Very nice top 4, gratz. Nice Aggro decks.

by RichardDWade on 2006-07-06 06:13 MDT

You guys never cease to amaze me. The diversity of the decks that win day to day is amazing. I remember the days when the metagames strongest decks would last weeks, and now they change by the hour. Congrats guys!

by Grimmjow on 2006-07-06 06:31 MDT

oh no! is zoo back?

by JoelMonteiro on 2006-07-06 06:44 MDT

Zoo and gruul are good against tron, and with more players playing tron, more play zoo now.

it isn't like tron can't beat them, the mu is just better for gruul/zoo.

i played with a gruul deck at my regionals against 1 UR tron and 1 URg tron and i've beaten both 2-0, tron needs a god draw against them

by TugaChampion on 2006-07-06 07:05 MDT

Finally a trial without tron in the top4! Let's hope it keeps that way until 10th comes out and tron gets out of T2 forever!!!

by Lunarvoltage on 2006-07-06 08:10 MDT

I doubt they will leave Tron out from 10th. There just isn't any reason to leave it out. Besides, Tron really isn't THAT hard to beat.

by TylerTMK on 2006-07-06 08:21 MDT

Go team H3R0IZ Z31!

by Banditking87 on 2006-07-06 08:36 MDT

....was there any BW in this? Also is anyone playing heartbeat anymore?

by CoolinDenial on 2006-07-06 09:21 MDT

Yay congrats Marvel your my new hero for the day

by kfcman1084 on 2006-07-06 09:29 MDT

i bet there was BW but i also bet that the tron decks beat the BW decks and the zoo, gruul and stompy decks cleaned up against tron

by ShaunD on 2006-07-06 10:17 MDT

BTW ShaunD = MarvelCrusher010101 = James_the_Dolphin

Actually KFC, all tron decks went 2-1 cause the players playing them sucked. not b/c zoo beat them. the players beat them selves :(

by Shagrath on 2006-07-06 10:26 MDT

What´s the utility of descendant of kyomaro on sb when u have few cards in your hand most of time? i don´t get it

by riceboy752 on 2006-07-06 10:44 MDT

maybe against burn. or other aggro decks its good? i dunno

by SteveOB on 2006-07-06 11:01 MDT

Heh....Not to knock shaund but this tourney shoulda been h3r01z's......me and tylertmk live in the same house and both of us got land screwed game 3 against him :(

by kfcman1084 on 2006-07-06 12:20 MDT

descendant of K is good agaisnt other aggro decks bcuz u cud use descendant and hold sum other cards while the other aggro deck dumps its hand

by BigShow on 2006-07-06 13:24 MDT

since when does zoo's mana base work?

by sex_monkey on 2006-07-06 13:30 MDT

Yay for sea stompy!

by ShaunD on 2006-07-06 16:23 MDT

heh, D. of Kiyomaro is for the aggro Match since they cant answer him, I SB out all my 1 drops execpt Kirdape and board them in. so i dont drop my hand as fast. And Steve kept a 1 land hand game 3 :(. thats why he lost :P and i am awesome.

by snoopster on 2006-07-06 18:35 MDT

lol shaund

u're awesome cuz u have a 1600 rating on modo?

u are a horrible player so stfu

by Lackeos on 2006-07-11 02:42 MDT

"I doubt they will leave Tron out from 10th. There just isn't any reason to leave it out"

Yes, aside from the fact that they like to print different cards every two years. Otherwise, Tron would have been in 4th, 6th, and 7th edition. See how it's in some and not others? That's because they like to change things up. and considering Tron will have had a four-year run, it's probably time to go.
