ghost quarter... wtf? how is that card in the SB... its so bad. vs a good mirror match, they should run at least one island main.

by Fayul on 2006-06-30 13:02 MDT

Tron is funny.

by Biorhythm on 2006-06-30 13:25 MDT

maybe he put ghost quarter in there because sizzet tron doesn´t run any basics....

AND: Germany beatz Argentinia 5:3 they´re the best team gogogo

by Dr_Moo on 2006-06-30 13:56 MDT

soccer shootouts are so awful.

by TEPI on 2006-06-30 14:50 MDT

perhaps even if they do play basics they don't have the tron going on anymore....

by Lunarvoltage on 2006-06-30 16:33 MDT

I just wonder how Sizzetron beated Critical Mass.

by XtaticX on 2006-06-30 20:44 MDT

Biorythm you suck, german national team sucks and all of you should know it.....if you won today is because of the referee.

Ballack is great.....but that's all you have.
Penalty shootouts are pure luck.

by Kaesh on 2006-06-30 21:23 MDT

xtaticx, don't hate, the beige turkish guy is quite good too.

by ChristPunchr on 2006-07-01 00:24 MDT

Wow, tron continues to extend its icy grip.

Grats on sandler for not playing a lame assed deck and grats Sui for winning with a brutally played out deck.

I just wonder how Sizzetron beated Critical Mass.

......noob.
what´s the big deal of that?

by Re-Venge on 2006-07-01 02:27 MDT

biorythm: maybe he put ghost quarter in there because sizzet tron doesn´t any basics....

uh... so he trades his land drop to destroy a land. uh... what does that accomplish? and most tron decks run a single island (or they should at least) which would mean running the ghost quarter is a liability at best.

by GregorClegan on 2006-07-01 04:03 MDT

Re-Venge:

Would you play STRIP MINE if you could in T2? Against a deck with TRON-pieces? Notice that most sizze-tron and even some izzetron doesn't run any basics.. and if they run 1 they can draw it. Also the matchup is almost entirely about getting Tron, hence the 4 Annex 4 Ghost Quarter plan. Lastly Ghost Quarter is good vs Heartbeat because it can destroy their only swamp/mountain either when they are forced to play it early, or when they have to tutor for it EOT (sakura elder rather than reach) or lastly in response to early harvest before they can get 3 black mana for MAGA. That seems like a pretty GOOD card, just a thought.

by TugaChampion on 2006-07-01 04:13 MDT

This is the reason why tron won't be reprinted in 10th. It's destroying the metagame in T2!!!

by kukumuku on 2006-07-01 04:36 MDT

Lol, ofcrouse it will! It will just be missing wildfire, keiga and some other nice stuff :D

by aggroking on 2006-07-01 08:34 MDT

@xactic
why lost argentinia because of the referee?

by aggroking on 2006-07-01 08:35 MDT

they were physically stronger than argentinia!

by aggroking on 2006-07-01 08:36 MDT

the germans

by PolarBearGod on 2006-07-01 10:20 MDT

Fucking tards claiming 1st and 2nd STILL! LMAO!

No BW? Intresting I guess.

by Biorhythm on 2006-07-01 13:24 MDT

@Re-Venge I didn´t say that ghost quarter is a good sideboard choice i´d just gave a reason why he´d run it... maybe its a worth sideboard card,maybe not... i didn´t test

@aggroking you´re totaly right
@random argentinien freak
well in game we had more chances to get a goal, we were as aggroking said stronger.
and the argentinien team was a very bad looser,they attack our team, such a bad looser... :(
