FIRST!!!!

Second!

by dv8r on 2006-05-04 17:34 MDT

I hate the fact that I wasted 5 hours just to get to the final of this trial.....

Rix is in the board because you side into a control deck and typically need the extra land. Rolling spoil is VERY good against solifuge, and the reason I lost the final was because of 3 rolling spoil game 2, a topdecked ghostway game 1, and a skeletal vampire than I should probably have considered when boarding for game 2. I recommend Rakdos Deck Wins for anyone and everyone in this format.

you guys are really sad

by Circa on 2006-05-04 19:59 MDT

Good job, dv8r! Second is NOT bad, lol.

by snoopster on 2006-05-04 20:46 MDT

woohoo go sandler

by _bouncyer_ on 2006-05-04 22:26 MDT

Forger is and will continue to be the best deck in Block.

by Rorix on 2006-05-04 23:52 MDT

much better than your average trial :)

btw, Forger sucks and the best deck in Block is GWB (at least until the pros start to truly break it... this block seem to have quite a lot of nice sinergies yet untouched)... but the GWB deck should run Rolling Spoil md :p

by VacancyMan on 2006-05-05 00:39 MDT

I'm flattered, Archy - a complete and utter netdeck of my own creation. I gave up on that deck a while ago - the day after I won the trial, in fact. I never expected it to arise again.

by synch987 on 2006-05-05 04:19 MDT

i hope dv8r flipped hit//run over with the confidant

by Shagrath on 2006-05-05 07:01 MDT

i had terrible hands vs dv8r on 2nd and 3rd game... and he had put confidant on his 2nd turn
in 3 games...... i still think that guw glare is a bad matchup for rakdos agro.

by Archy on 2006-05-05 07:05 MDT

Ye, VacancyMan :)

I copied the deck from one of the trials, seemed fun deck to play. Considering I had 10 mins till block trial started i needed to :P

It works like a charm :P Its so fun

by Fayul on 2006-05-05 08:49 MDT

Wait, a deck that wasn't control actually Top 3'd? Blasphemy.

Also, there's no better feeling than going through the archives of this trial and seeing a deck you built card-for-card being played by half the people. Especially because apparentally they are not cool enough to win with it.

by Shagrath on 2006-05-05 09:30 MDT

Yes, Fayul. I played your deck... and i lost because of the reasons that i said b4. very nice build

by Linkman on 2006-05-05 09:32 MDT

Research! :)

by _bouncyer_ on 2006-05-05 11:31 MDT

Ok lets consider this point, tekno link played a much worse build than even the original and still T4'ed without even a transmute engine for forger, and its still not getting credit, rediculous.

by Fayul on 2006-05-08 19:47 MDT

Uhh, my list card-for-card isn't optimal. There are definitely a lot of cahgnes I would have made to my list. Besides, it's metagamed against now, so, yeah. I just won because I took a deck with few bad matchups into an unknown field. *shrug*.

These decks look extremely boring but solid.
