Warriors are way better tanks.

by sorot on 2006-04-18 19:48 MDT

Sh it you win really

am predict right

When you fight with my owling deck

in singsle match

by sriegle1983 on 2006-04-18 20:43 MDT

I find this odd.

You hold a regular T2 trial and 91 people enter.

You hold a 1700+ T2 Trial, 18 people enter.

See any differences?

Other words, hold more regular trials. And...Hold trials at 1am and stuff. Not 2pm

by SOAD on 2006-04-18 21:16 MDT

Did you see all the decklist???.

They are all a piece of crap, and there were a lot of Heartbeats.

by SOAD on 2006-04-18 22:38 MDT

even so i tested it just now and Sea Stompy looks prety good, may be more control, but i guess that the most principal idea its to take shaman or ninja or lum then toughts of ruin the game, and its almost automaticaly GG.

by blkaznguy4 on 2006-04-18 23:22 MDT

x.x Those decks could lose to owl ... Honestly and owl can barley hold its own to Aggro. Esepcially the Sea Stompy deck ... Once owl hits the field, if Owl hits 5 mana in respones to thoughts he could jus return everything (creatures) to the hand and watch you die because you sacked away all the lands

by Rotstejn on 2006-04-18 23:47 MDT

mhhh baddest trial ever, first round end 50 mins over time because the TC has a problem in his match then I got a litle problem in my match and we got euh .... oh 0 Mins exta time !

I thought +1700 rating trials would be better organisede then normal trials but they are much worst :'(, The TC even didn't know the ruling of a wrong security code !!!!

by indie on 2006-04-19 03:13 MDT

sea stompy? wtf? only 4th place looks like a deck.

by synch987 on 2006-04-19 03:25 MDT

im glad sea stompy won something, but i think its gonna become the netdeck of the moment. in a regular trial not enough people play it to stand a chance of winning, the UB aggro is wank, and ghazi-chord is extremely diluted.

by Streakz on 2006-04-19 05:37 MDT

Actually, "Sea Stompy" has been winning a lot on MODO in the past few days. The Portugese, in particular, have really taken a liking to the deck. So, anyone who is calling it bad should revoke their statements because it is actually one of the better decks in the format.

by Rotstejn on 2006-04-19 06:34 MDT

Indie your stupid :p

by indie on 2006-04-19 07:05 MDT

"lol indie obv" if I were you, i would think twice before i speak arrogantly on high-rated-way above my level players. even if you disagree with me, or you think i dont know the metagame, Im quite sure you are not in the pro position of making this remark.

by ADraw- on 2006-04-19 07:05 MDT

Sea Stompy is a pretty good deck, the only problem is the mana base. Three color control decks like UWR have mana problems, but the problems are even worse with a three color aggro deck. Sea Stompy gets Gruul's beats and combines them with blues tempo- and counterspells. If it gets the mana right, it has a fair chance in every matchup atm.

by TugaChampion on 2006-04-19 07:33 MDT

This is the amazing "god's trial"!!! lol the only good deck there is sea stompy. In a normal trial only sea stompy would have a chance to get to the top4.

by Xaarn on 2006-04-19 07:49 MDT

lol drogba ?!?! your SUCH an random and talk SUCH an shit... sooooooooooooo amazing...

by MrCowFart on 2006-04-19 08:12 MDT

This is the one thing I dislike about Magic-league.

There's no way in hell you can metagame correctly because you'll always face some random deck. ALWAYS

by Spliff on 2006-04-19 09:24 MDT

I think you people need to pick up the blue black deck and actually try it before slamming, cause all u MAgnivore, B-W, and Eartbeat players have no idea how good a match UB is against them

by RichardDWade on 2006-04-19 09:31 MDT

FINALLY... some spice in the league.

by Alandariel on 2006-04-19 12:24 MDT

=o

I'm gone for what... a week? And see what happens?

>.>

I don't even know what to say to this. It's not like they're bad decks by any means but... come on... wtf... I'm going to enjoy the next T2 trial after everyone netdecks these sub-par decks.

They might be decent, but they're not Tier 1. If you don't see that, good for you. I'll be happy to prove you wrong if I see you in the next trial.

by Atatator on 2006-04-19 12:57 MDT

SEA STOMPY????WTF????ARMAGEDDON IS COMING SOON???

by Simonshiro on 2006-04-19 13:02 MDT

Seas Stompy has been played in PT Honolulu...I've also played it in a recent T2 Tourney here on Magic-League and I won that tourney...I just play it a little bit different with Dryad Sophisticate and Umezawa's Jitte.
It's I nice deck! congrats

by Rotstejn on 2006-04-19 13:12 MDT

lol Xaarn you now nothing from T2 !

by RiverBoa on 2006-04-19 13:12 MDT

I'm gonna go with *snickersnickersnickersnicker*

This oughta be good...great decks all around, people. Stick with them *snicker*.

by Alandariel on 2006-04-19 13:19 MDT

FlyingFreak... dude... you obviously know nothing. Period. thx

by Bejeezus on 2006-04-19 13:40 MDT

Sea Stompy is a good deck. And as someone mentioned already, the only real problem with it is the mana.
The only thing I don't agree with in the Sea Stompy deck is cutting the Umezawa's Jitte. Other than that it's a decent build.
Also, any random who's bad mouthing it as "sub-par", "a bad deck", "random crap" has obviously never playtested and knows next to nothing about the deck.
- Bejeezus

by Xaarn on 2006-04-19 14:20 MDT

hahahaha flyinyfreak xDDD hahah only why u toped 4ed a trial are u good or what?? hahaha....

by Rotstejn on 2006-04-19 14:48 MDT

It's just funny to sea people laugh at other people that are right ....

Xaarn, Sea Stompy is a really good deck ! (and that top 4 at that trial was the easiest thing in my life ...)

by Xaarn on 2006-04-19 14:49 MDT

cant remember that i said sea stompy isnt a good deck you?....

by Rotstejn on 2006-04-19 14:51 MDT

You laughed Drogba, and drogbo said that sea stompy was good ...

by CynSquirrel on 2006-04-19 15:38 MDT

Quit bitching just because you didn't win you fucking noobs. :/

by Xaarn on 2006-04-19 15:57 MDT

looool who said that i laughed about stompy? i just laugh about drogba who is such an random and talk all the time shit...

by indie on 2006-04-19 16:53 MDT

oh no, a bad player called me stupid...

by Fayul on 2006-04-19 17:39 MDT

I find i fairly amusing that the two people bitching back and forth weren't even in t4 of this trial. That is all.

U/B isn't the best deck, but I didn't come prepared for it and lost fair. Congrats to all, and , to the Sea Stompy man, may all your land draws be this fortuitous.

by ChristPunchr on 2006-04-19 19:35 MDT

Xaarn's english skill are king. Go back to school, son.

by Visara on 2006-04-19 22:13 MDT

You need to capitalize "English", ChristPunchr.

by Bejeezus on 2006-04-19 23:16 MDT

You also need to add an "s" to "skill".

by Rotstejn on 2006-04-19 23:47 MDT

I was 5th at this trial :'( :p, Bejeezus I don't think you mean sskill ? :D

by ChristPunchr on 2006-04-20 17:52 MDT

it's called "wit".

by PV on 2006-04-22 18:47 MDT

OMg, my deck!

by Lackeos on 2006-04-23 18:47 MDT

Flying Freak is actually a pretty decent Belgian player.

"sea stompy? wtf? only 4th place looks like a deck"
it's a fact, that quote is ignorant.

by crew on 2006-04-24 03:15 MDT

yeah xaarn's english is a little different, but you should drop the whole son thing old man, i givem props for speaking his opinion on a board that is foreign to him, even if it is negative.
