eminent domain is unbeatable or what???

by _bouncyer_ on 2005-12-21 10:57 MDT

Tato,

Game 1 vs ED, i mull to 4 and almost pulled it out. Game 2, if i had drawn any counter i would have won, i emptied his hand and he ripped kokusho and wildfire off the top in consession.

by Spliff on 2005-12-21 19:48 MDT

Bouncyer,

U mulled to 5 with 2 x Bob, and Hyppie,
Game 2 I Tidings, and Draw 0 Pyroclasm and 0 Wildfire until the end, while u had 2x Bob, Cutpurse and Hippie :-/

by Spliff on 2005-12-21 19:51 MDT

Also, U had 0 chance of pulling that 1st game off, when i killed u i had another wildfire and another pyroclasm in the hand.

emminent domain is not unbeatable. but, most decks aren't geared to it and have very little answers for it. the main threats it has are don't play little creatures , pyroclasm don't play big creatures confiscate, thus limiting you're agrro deck to little of nothing. gbw has some annoying answers putrefy fetters.b/u aggro has best chance. and same with red decks since not aN easy sb tho. since the whole deck doesn't revolve around one card more than others. two succesessful cranials. and he has to rely on searchlight to kill you.

by Agnostic on 2005-12-23 10:15 MDT

Obviously any deck that can win a trial is unbeatable :/ Remember m-l > the pro tour

by Fow on 2005-12-24 13:06 MDT

eminent domain is a pile he cant win after sb to deck with enchantment removal and if wants to play draw go with the quash he will surely lose.he won the trial thats a fact but i still think its a pile.

by Spliff on 2005-12-25 18:20 MDT

FOW,

If u Take a look at all the decks that i beat 80% of them had enchantment removal IN THE MAIN DECK. The Fact is i have so many enchantment/artifacts that they cant kill them all. During the Tournament I Had both my keiga and kokusho extracted. I was able to win by Soratami Savant and Searchlight Combination. It may look like a pile, But i have more experience with my deck than most people do with their Ghazi-Glare, So i already come into the match with an Advantage.

by Fow on 2005-12-26 08:45 MDT

2 seed spark its not very eficient against your deck unless you have them in the crucial time...about ghazi-glare i agree you with you most people dont know how to play it its not so easy has it looks...i tested the macht up against your deck main deck and assuming both players know what they are doing the advantge is to domain but not for much after sideboard eminent domain has few chances of winning.

by Spliff on 2005-12-26 15:07 MDT

FOW,

I have yet to loose a constructed match to Ghazi Glare, IRL, AND Online except for one occasion in which i was mana stalled on 2 lands on game 3 after getting mana flooded in game 2. The Match Goes by if u have jitte and i dont have one of my 10 ways of dealing with it. If you do not draw jitte u loose. Seed Spark is just a naturalize and i dont loose to naturalize, and neither does any deck

by Fow on 2005-12-26 16:55 MDT

we should play sometime i dont think jitte is very important in this macth up.i still think the same but a fact is a fact you won the trial.

by Spliff on 2005-12-26 17:44 MDT

Jitte is by far the MVP of this Match-up cause it makes the GG factor of Wildfire out of my grasp
