<Haro> I played UWG blink because I wanted to test how to play against it in future matchups and the best way to test, I learned, was to play the deck myself. So I joined the Master to test basically.

<Haro> Marc Perez's UR Gay Fish for Type 1. It was full of the worst cards
ever and yet it won, occasionally.

<Haro> No, because I don't own any of them and my Original Dual Lands would get jealous and kill me.

<Haro> WW for 2/2 Whenever ~this~ comes into play, destroy all rare cards in play.

<DH> I played Aussie (Perilous) Storm because it is the deck I am most
familiar with, and have done some testing with for my Nationals. I'm playing
the list without white.
<PV> What do you think of the Lowryn Planeswalkers?
<DH> What is Lowryn? :) Well, only time will tell, but so far I like the idea. It might be a bit hard for new players to get a grip of them, but nonetheless, they have powerful effects, which, as numerous cards in the past have shown, will prove good in one way/format or another.
<PV> What is your opinion on Two Headed Giant?
<DH> I never actually played that, but it seems fine from my point of view.

<DH> Mostly Cruel Edict, seeing that it is a legitimate answer to my second
favorite, which would be Troll Ascetic.

<cmc> Cal Cohen, 17 years old, and I'm from Oregon

<PV> what deck did you play and why?
<cmc> I played White/blue martyr because I expected to see a lot of aggro
and aussie storm, which this deck smashes. I also didn't expect to see that
many pickles decks, which are a huge problem to play against.
<PV> what's your favorite format of all time?
<cmc> Extended for sure. There's nothing better than smashing someone with a gigantic psychatog, and it just has more interesting decks than the current standard format. I think it's got the exact number of sets in it to make a more balanced format than the eternal formats, and having a bigger card pool than standard allows more deckbuilding options.
<PV> What's your favorite color, magic-wise?
<cmc> Blue. I prefer running a control deck to aggro or combo, and blue has the best card drawing options. It also never hurts to be able to say "no" to something, which the blue countermagic allows.
<PV> What are your thoughts on lorwyn having four sets instead of three?
<cmc> It will probably result in a more diverse format, because there will be a larger card pool than there usually is. I'm not too happy about how the drafts will be only 2 sets, because it will result in fewer possible
archetypes.

Thanks.. If I somehow managed to win g2 or g3, (btw, these were my first losses of the day), I'd have been pitted against a rather favourable matchup.
