Bushviper on 2009-05-21 18:58 EST Hmm, you are only invting winners and runners up for trials in the last 2 months? Seems kinda unfair sense the last invitational was 6+ Months ago but w/e. You should also know that May 30th is also the MODO Championship Season 2 tournament and as much as we hate to admit it, we have a very large amount of people who play MODO and M-L so I might take that into account because if there are players that are qualified for both tournaments I am pretty sure they will pick to play the MODO championship as it could land a seat at worlds. Just a thought.

Bushviper on 2009-05-22 14:42 EST If you read my post, May 30th is same day as the MODO championship for season 2, an even many players on M-l are qualified for. Secondly, it is probably the biggest MODO tournament in the entierty of May and I dont think M-L wants to schedual their biggest tournament in a LONG time in competition with MODO, especialy with the still fresh wounds on both sides.

RavensEffect on 2009-05-23 20:57 EST I've talked to alot of people in the chatroom that are not qualified, there are a lot more people that are in magic-league then you may expect. This will be a jam-packed invitational, but what is wrong with that, it just makes it feel more like a regular master except without the byes. And If you do get byes from 2 trial wins and/or a rating that will be lame, and unfair to the other trial winners.

Bushviper on 2009-05-27 16:01 EST Because you had not played a single other event for over 5 monthsuntil today after the cutoff and you are removed from the rankings for inactivity after a certain amount of time. This keeps people from getting high rankings and never playing another tournament so they can get byes and play in invitationals every time w/ out risk.
